Every ceremony is unique and I’ve held many at considerably different venues over the years. Wedding or funeral, inside or out, large or small, the occasion will often bring together families and memories. Together, we’ll craft a very personal event and make a very special interesting, different and rewarding occasion that will be remembered.

Passionate about providing a truly personalised wedding ceremony that reflects a couple’s wishes and personalities, I love the creativity and uniqueness of humanist weddings; and I also like to hang my hat on humanism, as it is a positive way of expressing a secular perspective. As well as being sensitive to different religious backgrounds, I enjoy researching, understanding and incorporating cultural touches, all of which means that I can write a wedding ceremony that is meaningful and inclusive to you. I’ve been a humanist wedding celebrant since 2014, throughout the South East, London, (and overseas because I love to travel!)

Celebrant for: Funerals
The most meaningful funeral ceremonies reflect and honour the life we are remembering with integrity, and also help those present to cope with whatever feelings the bereavement has brought.
I’ll be pleased to chat on the phone initially to help you decide whether I’m the right person for you. If so, I’ll meet with you in person (usually in your home) to create a tribute that feels appropriate and inclusive to all. I’ll work with you, your family, and your friends, to perfect the content and always encourage personal contributions. I’m open to including anything at all, however unusual.

Celebrant for: Funerals
I aim to write ceremonies as unique as every human life. I write a bespoke script for every family to celebrate the life of their loved one. The ceremonies I conduct are clear and engaging and I aim to provide a moving and life-affirming funeral, designed to help families in their grief, through a memorable shared experience. Before becoming accredited with Humanists UK, I was a primary school teacher. Now, driven by my love of people and my passionate belief in humanity, I love the opportunity to make the perfect ceremony for each family I meet.

Celebrant for: Weddings, Naming and Funerals
I have been a Humanist since 1999 when my wife and I were fortunate enough to be married in a Humanist ceremony conducted by a friend with whom we sing in a choir of mixed voices. Since then I have trained to preside at funerals, namings, weddings and civil partnerships and I am accredited by Humanists U.K. I think that it is very important that people have choice in how they mark important events. People are very generous in inviting others like me to contribute to these important events in their lives and it is an honour, a responsibility and a privilege for me to play a part in giving them special meaning.
